The Tactical Logistics Of Strategic Objectives
Gibb Enterprise Logistics goes beyond starting and operating a business to creating a "Tactical Strategy". My first enterprise began within a family-owned business and a perfect example of Enterprising Logistics.
I created a tactical strategy to expand service offerings within the primary business model. I created multiple income steams within parallel opportunities. From there I started a new division, created customer demand, and monetized these opportunities. These "enterprising" tactical moves doubled the gross revenue of a 30 year old company in 5 years with a 30% profit margin.
I discovered the core principle behind "Tactical Strategy" from people such as Ronald Reagan, Warren Buffet, Lee Iacocca, etc. All were "Abstract Strategic Thinkers", but it was their "Sequential Tactical Maneuvers" that separated them from other leaders. They were examples of "Big Picture" visionaries who implemented tactical agendas during times of chaos gaining societal leverage.
The ultimate "Sequential Tactician" on the political stage was Ronald Reagan. Under "Reaganomics" the economy grew faster with less inflation than at any time since 1960 . Reagan's "Supply-Side" economy saw disposable personal income rise by 20%, inflation fell from 13% to less than 4% with only 5% unemployment. His aggressive foreign policy struck down global terrorists, and pressured Russia into tearing down the East Berlin Wall.

I was never directly involved in day-to-day operations. As acting CEO of the company, I limited my role to oversight. I focused on improving means/methods, shoring up weaknesses, creating synergistic opportunities, and incorporating new technology.

A Strategic Nightmare for the competition, and a Resourceful Lifeline for your customers. You will possess "charismatic confidence"; humbled by failure but given the grace of God to persevere. I witness the miraculous daily!

"God is Bigger Than the Box You Put Him In". I don't put God in a box, He shows me what others miss and instinctively know how to correct the problem; it is always systemic. If you aren't focused on God, confident and bold; you will forever be lost in the sea of average. I view the world from a higher place of Faith!!
Einstein; “Only those who attempt the absurd can achieve the impossible.”
I did the unimaginable at 31, I left an independent division I created within a family business. With no source of income, I started my first company in 1989; borderline insanity and definitely absurd! I accomplished that which everyone said was impossible. I had discovered how "Good Will" had a positive impact with customers, but only a lukewarm impact on a company's value. I knew I had to build companies that were bigger than myself to succeed.
My eye for detail was my strength as I was making my way into the business world; it was my greatest weakness as an owner. I surrounded myself with people far better than I was at running the operational side of a new business so I could focus on growth. I vowed if I ever found myself being a daily task master, I failed as an owner. Humility is knowing there is ALWAYS someone better than you, usually standing right next to you!
Einstein; “The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive.”
My greatest achievement in business? Helping someone reach a goal they never dreamed possible. I groomed talented people of character to be the future leaders of our companies. I never looked at education, pedigree, or where you've been. Talent is your irreplaceable gift, and character is its treasure! If you do something with excellence, and you make it look easy; you found your "gift".

In order to be Enterprising, you can't sweat the small stuff. Focus on Corporate Culture and Ethical Business Principles; the foundation of a company's true value. I have built credibility across the USA, and other Countries, because I earned something you can never buy; a "Reputation" of Honor and Goodwill.
Einstein; “Small is the number of people who see with their eyes and think with their minds.”
A "Visionary" with Purpose has the ability to SEE beyond what is known. Having "Purpose" pursue the unimaginable. I understood Einstein's view on academics; "Education can't solve problems with theory. The mind of holy curiosity forms the questions, and your imagination answers with creative solutions." We analyze history to find SUCCESS in the future. If one has the ability to SEE behind the numbers, they possess the VISION to find VALUE beyond the numbers!
Accounting is a structure, Economics is a puzzle, but Finance is an Art. The 1st is Statistical, the 2nd is Hypothetical, but the 3rd is Analytical! Understand the terms or get lost in their meaning, Finance ALWAYS determines the success or failure of a business! I founded my 2nd company with the employees and assets I acquired from a company that went bankrupt in 18 months. They had plenty of sales no financial direction. My bank fully funded the purchase based on my new financial blueprint.
Einstein; “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
I started gaining recognition among business leaders and editorial commentators after I wrote a lengthy article on LinkedIn in 2015 titled "Integrity, The World Is Watching". The article called into question the unethical practices pervasive in many Large Corporate Cultures. Bold statements tend to grab people's attention!
I was asked by the Business Department of the University of Wisconsin to address the student body at a lecture hall regarding the article and other topics from entrepreneurship to finance. I have also also given presentations to Financial Institutions, Investment Firms and Peers regarding economic forecasts. I added VALUE by giving others counter measure logistics. My goal is to awaken the mind, beg questions, foster ideas, and serve to remind; the "bottom-line" measures success, but purpose judges your value!

I have become a prolific writer, my style is "Black & White" as people don't understand "Gray". I was interviewed by Tampa's "News Service to the C-Suite" about an article I had written; "Integrity, The World Is Watching" calling into question leadership's ethical standards in business. We also covered the Value of CMR's expansion into Florida and successfully doubling EBITDA during the 2008 market crash.
I am writing a book and beginning a series of "Podcasts" to inspire others to pursue their dreams despite overwhelming odds, depression, and a lack of desire. A close friend & mentor of mine published a few books before she died, she often told me she saw God's Grace in my journey . "Up Against The Rising Tide" will be dedicated in her name; I dedicate the Podcasts to my 3 daughters
